Entries are now open for the Gareth Pugh 100 Handicap 2026, one of Coolhurst’s longest-running squash traditions. First played in 1981, the tournament brings players of all standards together, with a handicap format that gives everyone a chance.

Whether you are new to competitive squash or a regular club player, it is a great opportunity to meet fellow members and compete for a place on the clubhouse honours boards.

How it works

Each player receives a starting score based on their relative playing standard. The first to reach 100 points wins and progresses to the next round.

Starting scores are designed to keep matches within a 45-minute court session, including the warm-up and up to two breaks, which may be called by the player with the higher starting score.
